Picasso & Modern British Art at TATE

My daughters and I spent a day at the TATE Britain this weekend.

We decided to visit the Picasso exhibition, which just so happened to include a fairly large section on Wyndham Lewis (my children's great great grandfather). 

Personally I'm not a great fan of Picasso, however some of his more detailed work (like his sketching) 

really do showcase his talent.

Douglas Friedman

The work of american photographer Douglas Friedman happened to catch my eye today.

During the earlier years of his profession he worked as a photographer for places such as Elle Decor.

I chose these pictures particularly for their fun eclectic style.
